Drone Racing League Finds High-Flying Crypto Partner in Algorand

  • The Drone Racing league has signed a 5 year deal with Algorand adding to ALGOs rise over the past few weeks.

  • The Drone Racing league will have their World Championship named after ALGO as well as the Algorand name pasted all over the stadiums. The league will broadcast on NBCSN and Twitter.

  • Algorands blockchain will be used for ticket sales, NFTs, and token based governance.

Google partners with NFT leader Dapper Labs to support Flow blockchain

  • Google partnering with Dapper labs could mean a broader adoption for one of the leaders in the NFT space and give Google an opportunity to start putting out there own NFTs and Web3 services.

  • Dapper will be getting Google Cloud to serve as the network operator as well as help scale and secure the infrastructure that powers the Flow blockchain.

  • Google is the next in a list of companies and big names jumping into NFTs in some way. They now join Visa, Budweiser, Marvel, and more.

Solana Has Been Down for Hours Due to ‘Resource Exhaustion’

  • Solana has seen its network get overloaded recently causing the network to go down for about 4 hours earlier this morning.

  • Solana developers and CEO, Anatoly Yakovenko, have gotten together to figure out a solution to this issue.

  • They think it is caused by a high amount of transaction volume from bots during a initial decentralized exchange offering launching on Solana.

  • Solana CEO says that bots were “flooding the network” with 300,000 transactions per second.

NFTs are rapidly losing volume over the last few weeks after peaking on August 29th at $323,000,000 in volume for just one day.As ETH gas fees started to rise and cheaper alternatives, like Solana, started popping up on peoples radar bringing more traffic away from OpenSea.As of today the floor is continuing to drop on some of the biggest NFT projects most notably CryptoPunks which now is about 80 ETH and dipping.
