Coinbase Enters Fortune 500

The Fortune 500 is an annual list ranking America’s largest companies by revenue, profits, and other qualifications.

This year is the 68th edition of the list and the first to feature a cryptocurrency related company.

Some other notable companies that also made the list for the first time this year include:

  • Moderna with COVID-19 vaccine supply agreements with the U.S. and other governments

  • Hotel/Resorts Companies: Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts Int’l, Expedia Group

  • Rental/Real Estate: Zillow Group, Compass, Opendoor Technologies

Coinbase’s stock has been on a steady decline since November 2021, while the first day of public trading ended at $328.28 after a reference price of $250 each. This week the price of Coinbase Global Inc stock fluctuated between highs of $70 and lows of $62. This morning, the stock is trading just under $60.
