Key Points:

  • PleasrDAO is one of the biggest NFT collection DAOs as well as Flamingo DAO. These DAOs are meant to get investors together to be able to collect rare and sought after NFTs.

  • Back in July it was announced that the Wu-Tang Clans album “Once upon a time in Shaolin” was bought for $4 million. This album was most notably bought and subsequently seized from Martin Shkreli after he was arrested for securities fraud.

  • Today we found out that the purchaser of this piece was PleasrDAO. What makes this Wu-Tang album so significant is that it can not legally be commercially released until 2103, remixed or recorded, streamed, or broadcast online. PleasrDAO has also bought multimillion dollar pieces such as Edward Snowdens NFT. The DAO purchased this in April for $5.4 million.

  • “They’re [Wu-Tang] kind of the OG DAO,” Jamis Johnson told Rolling Stone. “They bonded together to form a collective more powerful than any individual had on their own.”
