Will Discord integrate Ethereum Compatibility soon?

Jason Citron, CEO of Discord hinted at possible upcoming Ethereum compatibility update to Discord. He tweeted a screenshot of the discord app with a connection integration for Ethereum through either MetaMask or WalletConnect. These connection settings are not available to regular web and desktop apps yet, so it is likely a screenshot of a test build.

Discord is a widely used and free to use voice, video, and text chat app. Discord has been especially popular in the gaming community and is seeing a rise in tech and crypto related servers.

With an Ethereum wallet integration, one could send and receive crypto and NFTs, and take advantage of the community for features such as crypto giveaways.
