Ever since the February boom of NFT’s, many artists and actors have looked for different ways to integrate their mediums into the growing space. Projects such as Zero Contact and Claude Lanzmann: Spectres of the Shoah, the former being Oscar award winner Anthony Hopkins's next film. But a big question that has loomed since before Hollywood began to get involved in NFT’s, is “Does one own the actual intellectual property associated with the NFT”, In other words, “What this means is that NFT owners have no right to take legal action against IP infringements.”. This is where “Lockdown”, “the first NFT feature film in Asia” made by Phoenix Waters Productions and AMM Global, is trying to differentiate itself by creating what it calls a “Hybrid NFT”. The actual tech behind the film is being headed by Marvion Media, a company aiming to solve the aforementioned IP issue, by tying “sales and purchase agreements, evidence of ownership of IP, transfer deeds, and ownership title information.” directly into the NFT. If successful this could be the beginning of a very regular marketing strategy.
