CryptoPunks creators sign with top Hollywood agents as sales top $305M in a week

  • The CryptoPunks creators, Larva Labs, has signed a deal with United Talent Agency to represent their intellectual property deals for CryptoPunks in movies, video games, and publishing.

  • Other Larva Labs projects such as Meebits and Autoglyphs are also a part of the deal.

  • Sice 2017 CryptoPunks have generated $1.18 billion in sales.

  • Visa and other big names have also recently bought into the first NFTs on ETH.

VeChain Thor mainnet reaches 10 million blocks milestone with no downtime

  • VeChain has reached a milestone by surpassing 10 million blocks on the mainnet. The foundations says it is “testament to our public blockchain’s scalability, security, and rock-solid stability”.

  • VeChain has made some really strong partnerships with Walmart, Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated and have also started an initiative to help companies report carbon footprint data.

  • In the coming months VeChain will also be looking to upgrade their proof-of-authority to 2.0.

Mayoral candidate pledges to make NYC 'most cryptocurrency-friendly city in the nation'

  • This would be nice to see as NY is the strictest state in the US when it comes to doing crypto operations.

  • Republican New York mayoral candidate, Curtis Sliwa, tweeted that he will be looking to add more crypto ATMs and incentives for businesses that will accept crypto.

  • Democratic candidate, Eric Adams, is also claiming he wants to make NYC “the center for bitcoins”

  • Social volume has been increasing slowly since the middle of July. Since it has seemingly been mostly positive sentiment we can make a plausible connection to the rise in price. Sentiment is euphoric at the moment that could be enough alone to push to 50K.
