Elon Musk and Binance CEO Lock Horns in Twitter Exchange

  • Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) had an exchange of words on Twitter today over issues regarding Dogecoin withdrawals on Binance.

  • Binance released a statement identifying the error, saying it is due to a “different technical wallet set-up for DOGE.”

  • Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and known proponent of DOGE coin, called out CZ and Binance in a public tweet about the known issue and even described the occurrence as “shady”. CZ, not thrilled to see a major figure in the world demean his business, responded with an apology for the inconvenience and turned the tables on Musk by replying with a link to an article about Tesla glitches and safety recalls.

  • While the budding CEOs eventually made up and cooled their rhetoric, Dogecoin developers provided more clarity regarding the issue stating that the transaction issues were due to insufficient fees sent to the network.
