Bitfarms now contributing over 2 EH/s to Bitcoin network

Mining giant Bitfarms has recently doubled their hash rate to just over 2 EH/s (Exahash per second). The total Bitcoin network hash rate is just over 160 EH/s, meaning that Bitfarms is contributing around 1.25% of the total network hashrate.

Ignoring the cost of power, 2 EH/s or 2,000,000 TH/s yields around 10.97 BTC per day (Over 4,000 BTC mined per year)

They’re just getting started

Bitfarms has orders for 48,000 MicroBT miners scheduled for 2022 delivery. This MicroBT miner for example can achieve 68 TH/s. This would add 3.264 EH/s to their current 2 EH/s, totaling over 5.2 EH/s.
