Could this be the end of Bitcoin? A Crypto Billionaire weighs in.

Crypto Billionaire, and Bitcoin Foundation Chairman Brock Pierce says that the price of Bitcoin will be a complete failure, or will become hugely successful.

While being interviewed by Fox Business News on May 6th, the Crypto pioneer said that investors should be weary of investing heavily in the leading cryptocurrency on the market.

“(Bitcoin) could go to zero. It’s a binary outcome. It’s either going to go to $1 Million a Bitcoin or zero. It’s going to be one or the other, which is why you shouldn’t put everything there”.

Pierce, who was one of the co-founders of Tether, has compared the current landscape of Crypto, to the Dot Com, and tech bubble craze of the late 90’s.

He has stated that although the tech bubble of the 90’s produced hugely profitable companies such as Amazon, Ebay, and Shutterfly, there were also numerous other companies that went bust. He has stated that the same could also happen to Crypto, with only a few top projects emerging, while the rest would simply fade away.

Despite saying there could be an inevitable market crash, Pierce has called the innovation of Crypto, and blockchain “real’, and said it would play an important role in the collective future.

In addition to being a major investor in Bitcoin, Pierce also invests heavily in Blockchain based Ethereum.

“I famously just made a nine-figure best on EOS. I converted all my Block.one shares into that. That’s public. And beyond that, i’m very interested in what’s happening within the NFT market. I was a part of the NFT.com purchase and launch which happened last week”.

NFT.com is a marketplace for non-fungible token (NFT), a unit of data stored on a digital ledger called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable.

EOS, a smart contract platform for decentralized applications, is trading for $2.02 at time of writing, while Bitcoin is trading at $30,808.10.
