The NFT boom rose like a phoenix over the summer, after seeing an initial spike in the spring. Open Sea the most well-known NFT marketplace benefited significantly, seeing 3.1 billion dollars in trading volume, in the month of August alone. But with such high traffic, problems are bound to arise, and one of NFT holder’s biggest fears came to fruition on Tuesday. The loss of their precious Jpegs due to a bug in the Open sea code, when it can to ENS (Ethereum Name Service).
