BTC Tries to Consolidate

Neither this post, nor any other at cryptofal.com should be taken as financial advice. It is not.

BTC is attempting to consolidate after its large dip Friday night. The MFI is trending upwards and the MACD is entering neutral territory. This could mean that if support holds we could start to see a recovery, however caution should be taken based on the volatility of fiat markets from last week.
The overall cryptocurrency market cap is around $2.25 trillion while the overall market volume has dipped to $120 billion.

ATOM has seen a volatile few days following the larger movement of the cryptocurrency market, with it being today’s largest percentage lost in 24 hours according to coinmarketcap.com. Currently, the MFI is trending down fairly strongly on the daily and the MACD is remaining fairly neutral. It’s likely that until BTC and ETH settle for a bit, altcoins like ATOM may continue to see some volatility.
