Vueling Airlines Partners With BitPay To Integrate Crypto Payments
The agreement between Vueling and BitPay will allow customers to make purchases using cryptocurrency, starting sometime next year (2023). The feature will first be made available for online purchases.
Customers will be able to take advantage of BitPay’s wallets and payment methods to choose from over 100 wallets and between 13 cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH, and SHIB. The airline is also working with Universal Air Travel Plan Incorporated (UATP), one of the standard payment networks for the aviation sector.
