Canadian company Hive Blockchain Technologies ordered an additional 6,500 bitcoin ASIC miners from Canaan
The company previously bought over 10,000 units throughout this year
HIVE currently has approximately 1.2 Exahash per second (EH/s) of Bitcoin mining capacity, and with this new purchase, HIVE's Bitcoin ASIC pipeline will be at 2 EH/s by December 2021, and 3 EH/s by March 2022. Statement from Executive Chairman, Frank Holmes

China update
Huobi, a major cryptocurrency exchange in China, has completely shut down futures, contracts and other derivatives functions for all Chinese users, as planned. They originally decided on these plans late September 2021 after the Chinese government’s Bitcoin and other crypto related bans. Many other crypto exchanges have also withdrawn operations from China.
