NFL quarterback Tom Brady gives fan 1 BTC for his historic 600th-touchdown-pass ball

On Sunday he threw his 600th career touchdown pass to Mike Evans who, in the excitement of the moment, gave the ball to a fan in the stands.

  • The fan was approached by security shortly after and being a stand up fan he gave the ball back so that Tom terrific can have his piece of history back.

  • On Monday night football with Peyton and Eli Manning, Brady said that he also gave that fan 1 BTC for returning the ball. The fan will also be receiving two signed jerseys from the team and a helmet with Bradys autograph.

  • “There were a lot of negotiations in order to get the ball back,” said Brady. “Byron realized he lost all of his leverage once he gave the ball away [...] I’m also giving him a Bitcoin. That is pretty cool, too. At the end of the day, I think he is still making out pretty.” Ken Goldin, of Goldin auctions, estimated that the ball could have been worth $500,000 - $900,000.
