Former TikTok Gaming Head Launches Blockchain Gaming Startup

Jason Fung has an expansive resume in gaming and Esports. He held the position of Head of Competitive Gaming at Electronic Arts (EA) for nine months in 2017 to design and develop all of EA Asia’s esports programs. Fung also served as a Global Esports Director for Alibaba Group from 2018 to 2020. Most recently, he has been serving as the Global Head of Gaming Content, Strategy, and Operations for TikTok.

According to an interview with Reuters, Fung left TikTok after “seeing an opportunity to offer a solution to the current segregated nature of infrastructure options available to developers looking to build blockchain games.”
The company will offer a white-label API and software solutions to allow for a crosschain solution to bring any NFT into any game or metaverse.

There is not much information available for Jason Fung’s new startup Meta0. The firms founding team has six members plus the two co-founders (Jason Fung and the other co-founder is still undisclosed).
